United Airlines has resumed its daily Washington Dulles to Dublin service (flight number UAL228/9), effective 20 February 2025, after suspending the service on 5 January, 2025, post the Christmas peak season. The first flight was operated by the Boeing 757-224(ER), aircraft N17128, with 174 seats in a two-class configuration.

As part of a broader expansion of its nonstop services between Dublin and the U.S., the airline will increase its flight frequency, doubling the number of daily flights from one to two, starting March 29, 2025. United will operate the route using 176-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft. This seasonal increase is part of the carrier’s plan to raise seat capacity by over 40% for summer 2025, marking its highest-ever offering from Dublin.
