Delta Air Lines has unveiled its third annual list of the most searched international travel destinations, offering a glimpse into where Americans are looking to spend their summer abroad. The rankings are based on aggregated search data from Delta.com and the Fly Delta app.

Dublin, Ireland secured the eighth position, placing just behind Amsterdam, Athens, and Tokyo. The Irish capital’s strong showing highlights its enduring draw for travelers looking for a mix of literary heritage, historic sites, and lively pub culture.

London, Paris, and Rome continue to dominate the top spots, with Paris seeing a notable 16% increase in search activity compared to last year. These European capitals remain perennial favorites among U.S. travelers seeking culture, cuisine, and iconic landmarks.

Tokyo climbed one spot to sixth place this year, following a remarkable 54% surge in search interest. This jump reflects a growing enthusiasm for travel to Japan, fueled by its unique blend of tradition and modernity.

For the first time, Lisbon has cracked Delta’s top 10 list, edging out Vancouver. The Portuguese capital experienced a 6.5% increase in searches, suggesting a rising appeal of its coastal charm and rich history.
