Cityjet CRJ900 all white

Irish ACMI specialist CityJet took delivery of a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR, registered EI-HSC (msn 15088), on 17 July 2025. The aircraft will operate on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines under a wet lease agreement and will be based in Copenhagen Airport (CPH).

According to fleet tracking data from Planespotters.net, the regional jet was originally delivered to Lufthansa CityLine in August 2006 as D-ACKG. It remained in service with Lufthansa Regional until February 2017 before returning to the Lufthansa fleet under the CityLine brand.
Prior to its transfer to CityJet, the CRJ900 was temporarily registered to SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance as OE-LON in March 2025. The formal handover to CityJet took place in July at Copenhagen Airport.

CityJet is set to further expand its SAS wet lease operations with the addition of another former Lufthansa CityLine CRJ900. The second aircraft, reported as EI-HSF (msn 15089), previously flew as D-ACKJ. It was registered to SAMCO as OE-IID in May 2025 and is expected to join the CityJet fleet shortly.

CityJet has been a key wet lease partner for SAS, supporting the Scandinavian carrier’s regional network with its fleet of CRJ900 aircraft.
