Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, is expanding its Dublin–Zayed International Airport, also known as Abu Dhabi International Airport route to 10 weekly flights starting July 1, 2025. The move is part of the airline’s broader expansion plans for 2025 and marks a significant increase from its current daily service.
This increase in frequency is aimed at boosting connectivity between Ireland and the UAE, as well as onward destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The flight times have been structured to offer both morning and evening departure and arrival options, providing added flexibility for both business and leisure travellers.
Etihad Airways Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer Arik De, said “We are delivering on our strategic promise to serve more key destinations twice daily as fast as we can, and our summer schedule underscores our commitment to growth and further supporting tourism in Abu Dhabi. By aligning our schedule to offer 2pm departures from Abu Dhabi, we provide guests with convenient check-out times from their hotels, allowing them to make the most of their stay in our beautiful city.”
