Cork Airport, Ireland’s fastest-growing airport, has unveiled its 2025 Summer Schedule, offering 2.75 million seats across more than 50 routes, operated by nine airlines. The announcement was made at a launch event in Cork city centre, attended by key figures from the travel trade, local businesses, and tourism sectors.

The schedule introduces four exciting new summer routes: Aer Lingus will operate new services to Bilbao and Bordeaux; TUI will launch a route to Corfu; and SunExpress will provide the airport’s first-ever connection to Izmir, Turkey. The new services kick off later this month, with the Bilbao route starting this week, Bordeaux launching on May 15, Corfu on May 9, and Izmir on May 31.

Tom Randles, President of the Irish Travel Agents Association, joined Cork Airport executives and stakeholders in marking the expansion, which promises to enhance the region’s tourism and connectivity for the summer season.

Cork Airport, Managing Director Niall MacCarthy said “We’re proud to be Ireland’s fastest-growing airport. We find that when passengers discover the ease and friendliness of Cork Airport, they return time and time again. Whilst we are well-known in Munster, we are increasingly seeing passengers from south Leinster and the midlands, discovering Cork Airport. If you are one of those, who hasn’t flown from Cork Airport before, we strongly encourage you to give it a try!”.

Aer Lingus will maintain key European connectivity this summer with a four-times daily service to London Heathrow, offering passengers seamless access to the global British Airways network. The airline’s regional arm will operate a daily service to Bristol (twice-daily on Fridays and Sundays) and a four-times-weekly service to Glasgow. Aer Lingus will also operate 11 services from Cork, including daily flights to sun destinations like Malaga and Faro, plus seasonal services to Palma de Mallorca and Dubrovnik.

Meanwhile, Ryanair will operate 33 routes from Cork Airport this summer, including extra frequencies on 14 popular routes such as Alicante, Barcelona, Edinburgh, and Manchester. The airline has also extended its Fuerteventura service to year-round operation, marking a 21% expected growth in passenger traffic compared to last summer.
